Georgia’s European Union 2024 Aspirations in Focus

TBILISI — Diplomacy in Ireland – European Diplomat will being a 3-Part Series looking at Georgia’s aspirations to put forth its membership plan to the European Union in 2024.  The series will include an exclusive interview with Maka Botchorishvili.  Ms. Botchorishvili, a former high-ranking Georgian diplomat, is now a member of the Parliament of Georgia serving as its Chair of the EU Integration Committee.  She visited Members of the Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs in November.

Coverage of Georgia’s progress in addressing the particulars of the Association Agreement; its work within the Eastern Partnership (EaP) and views on Georgia’s EU membership aspirations both domestically and within the EU will be covered.
